Bunny lines are the diagonal wrinkles that appear on the sides of the nose when a person scrunches or wrinkles their nose.

The nasalis muscle is a paired muscle located on the sides of the nose. It consists of two parts: the transverse part and the alar part. The transverse part helps to compress the nasal cartilage, and the alar part helps to flare the nostrils. When a person wrinkles or scrunches their nose, the nasalis muscle is engaged, leading to the formation of bunny lines.

The procerus muscle is a small, pyramid-shaped muscle located between the eyebrows and the bridge of the nose. It plays a role in controlling movements of the eyebrows and the skin of the forehead. When engaged, the procerus muscle can contribute to the formation of bunny lines in conjunction with the nasalis muscle.
