A lip flip is a cosmetic procedure designed to create the appearance of a fuller upper lip and reduce the visibility of the upper lip line when smiling.
The orbicularis oris muscle is a circular muscle that surrounds the mouth and is responsible for controlling lip movements, such as puckering, kissing, and smiling. When the orbicularis oris muscle contracts excessively, it can cause the upper lip to invert or roll slightly inward, creating the appearance of a thin upper lip.

A lip flip procedure can enhance the fullness and shape of the upper lip, providing a natural-looking enhancement.
